작품 설명

Ceremonial plates decorated with a <em>bella donna</em> (beautiful woman) feature half-length portraits of a young woman surrounded by scrolled banners. Many <em>bella donna</em> plates were informed by the frescos of Renaissance painters Pietro Perugino and Pinturicchio.
